Unreal Engine 3 vs. Torque 3D
Let's get real, there is no comparison. Unreal Engine 3 wins by a landslide. In case someone wants to play with it, Epic has released the engine with all tools for free. Yes, FREE!!!!
It really makes me wanna slap out the cash to get us a seat to use for this project cause it reall is superior in every way. Here's the link:

Progress
I'm actually quite pleased with the progress we've made so far. The first level has been laid out and geometry for it is in the works thanks to Blade. I've started, finally, on the Genestealer model. I had started working on it for the cutscene movie but since that idea was scrapped in favor of in-game scenes I had to rethink the model as the structure in game will be diffrent.

Darkjava is working on the inventory and user interface code and I hope we'll start seeing his progress soon.
Serria laid out level one and will soon begin on level two so we will post an update on that once it's began.
Doofguy continues to work on the main character and I can't wait to see the finished product.
I hope soon, perhaps in the next month, the first level will be in the alpha stage and we'll actually be able to run it in the engine for testing purposes. So keep your eyes peeled because we are working all the time to get this thing done.
